They're predicting sustained 40-50 MPH winds and 4-7 inches of rain... I don't know that I'm gonna make it...

That's what windshield wipers are for Dave.

Clearly you've never seen what 7" of rain will do to DFW.

And change your avatar to "Worst President EVAR!"

7" of rain to DFW is almost as bad as 1" of snow.

The Sept 25 autox at TMS was cancelled as of yesterday. This event will instead be held on October 16 at TMS.

I'd have to agree with you here. Lets see, 7" of rain, medium duty trucks speed up to 75mph to race you to the median. 1" of snow/sleet and medium duty trucks speed up to 75mph to race you to the median. Yup, I'd say it's about the same. Several years ago my wife and I went to go see a movie and came out to be greeted by about 1" of sleet. I drove my FD home about 15 miles down I-20 but not ONE of the pickups that passed me made it further than the next bridge. Funny how that happens. At least in the D/FW area folks just don't know how to drive in anything other than sunny and clear.

Thanks Damon. I figured they would probably take a cautious approach to this.
