[DFW] Feb GtG

Well, I'm still alive, barely, and my wife will be convinced to let me out of my cage. Let's call Feb 3 the official GtG date. Same place, same time.

Cheddars @ I-635 and MacArthur in Irving.
7:30-ish

I'll be the schmuck in the big, UGLY, truck.

p.s. If anyone cares to donate a 13B-REW I'll gladly accept it.

I should be there. I might even get a chance to test out my new buffer and stuff and have a really shiney 2 toned car for the meet.

kickin'. I very much look forward to the day that I get to drive a car to the meets again. Someone finally shared a 6-port N/A map for the Megasquirt so I'm hopeful that I'll get a round tuit soon.

If you buff for about a day and a half, you MIGHT get it as shiny as rotarynerdette's

Pffft. I've got about 3 different shades of Blaze Red on my car. And primer, too!!!

I'll be there... my car is back on BBS wheels Unless someone wants to donate some 17" tires? 245/40/r17 would be awesome. :P

I'll be there too, but unless Chip Foose comes and takes my car this weekend, I'll probably be in the Neon again. :P

When I had a Neon rent car I thought they sucked too. Everything looked cheap and plasticy, and it drove like crap. I was surprised at how much difference there was between the base Neon and the SXT (like mine), because when I test drove it, it was like an entirely different car, and the interior looks WAY nicer than the rubbermaid interior on the rental car.

You can check it out if you want at the GTG - if you won't kill me/it, I may even let you drive it.

Thank you, they only took like, 4 hours to do. :P And my SXT would kick your ZX2's butt.

I'm not just talking smack - bring it on! You'd have to put about 2 grand in your ZX2 to keep up.

Nope, mine's a manual. I can see how an auto would kill you though - this one doesn't really wake up until 3 grand, which is where an auto would shift unless you were standing on it.

I'm with you though, when I had a Neon rent-a-car in San Antonio I thought "What a piece of crap!" When I test drove this one I was like "Wow, it's got some potential!"
