I just wanted to be different than every other NA neon with SRT4 wheels. :P It may not have taken that long, I just remember taping everything off was the worst part. Actually the worst part is noone else makes that color paint but Daimler Chrysler. :P $15 for a 3 oz can of paint, which is ALMOST enough for two wheels. I'll redo them again this year when I repaint the car.

But the RX7 is getting repainted first, from the engine bay out. That's why it's taking so long to get her back together, is I want to do it all up right this time. Strip and Repaint engine bay, redid the entire engine wiring harness wire by wire, added power windows, tinted side windows and hatch, brand new carpet from tip to tail, new storage bins, reupholstered doorpanels, new steering wheel, new exhaust with a brand new high flow cat and glasspack muffler test pipe, and a new master suspension bushing kit. All that on TOP of rebuilding the engine and transmission. :P 20+ years of grime and sludge don't come off easy, and I sure don't want to do any of this crap again for a while.

I haven't been able to go to a meet for some time. To busy with work, hell I haven't drove my RX7 but twice in the last three months. I'm moving next week so I quess I'll miss that one too. I'm planning to make the next one in March before I go to Puerto Rico for a couple of weeks (home of the fastest rotaries in the world). I hope you guys have a great meet.

I had to set up an account with Cusco's N. American distibutor last month, other dealers were unable to get me one, so I just went to the source.

the type MZ is a cone type LSD, the RS uses Spring type LSD. the MZ will lock when you go WOT (wide open throttle), the RS will lock with less initial throttle. either way I would recomend going with a 2-way.
I have an RS 2-way, there is a night and day difference!

if I make it out to the meet I can bring one in a box and let everyone look at it

Looks like someone learned an important lesson about either strong passwords, or leaving the computer logged in.

I take the second letter from the middle name of each teacher I had from 1st grade through the 11th - convert each to ascii individually, then add the resultant numbers into pairs (1-2, 3-4, etc) run those through a Fibonacci chain, multiply by the cube root of i and divide each by the largest prime number that will give me a result within the alphanumberic section of the ascii sequence. then I put a little smiley face at the end. Like this.
