How does that turbo compare to the HKS/Garrett GT3540 ball bearing turbo?? I've really been considering a setup with that baby in there. But now I hear about the t-51 KAI bb. Does it flow more and/or spool faster than the 3540? I'm very curious. Also, does anyone know where I could download a soundclip of the t-51?? Thanks!

dyno video with the T51r kai kit
No sound clip but I got two dyno videos for you.

Both cars have the T51R kai turbo. For details of the black car, go to the website and click on the project car link. For pictures of the silver car, go to the gallery section of the website.
On the black car (Rotary Extreme project car #1), you can hear the turbo better because the car has the RB single tip and also a muffler midpipe.
On the silver one (Rotary Extreme project car #2), at the end of the video, the sound will turn into static because the car was so damn loud the mic on the video cam couldn't pick up the sound anymore.
As for the turbo, retail price is $6540. Usually people sell it for $5500. We sell it for $4500. Go to http://www.rotaryextreme.com/ and click on the HKS T51R kai group buy link to see some specs.
