Who can tell me what my turbo is?
I have been told I have a HKS T04R. I have no idea whether it's true or not, but could someone tell me if thats what it looks like, or if it is a T04R, what sort of power a car equipped with one would be capable of producing???
Many thanks.

mm... I highly doubt anyone here is going to be able to tell you what your turbo is with that picture. Is there any kind of identification plate on it? what about numbers on the turbine and or compressor housings?

Anabolic: hard to tell but yeh that does look around t04r size (or bigger!)
I got one of these turbos on my FD and it made 316rwhp (dyno dynamics) @ 14psi. They really need to be turning a lot more boost to get the most out of em, 25+psi should be good for around 500 dynojet rwhp.
Rob.
ps. who'd you buy the rx7 through?

Not a T78 or T88, because the CHRA bolts to the exhaust housing. Probably a TO4S, TO4R, or a 67-1. All of these use the same compressor housing, they are just machined out for the different sized wheels. Just as a note, I have seen many a TO4S in Japan get sold as a TO4R, because most people can't tell the difference.

Exhaust housing looks like it's AR .84
