I am also waiting for my car back from A-Spec, the wait is killing me but at the same time I know that the guys at A-Spec are just as disappointed and anxious as there customers. They have been nothing but up front and honest to me about the situation that they have no control over. My car hasn't seen the road for almost 2 yrs now. I cant wait to drive the car home for the first time and realize that it far exceeded my expectations and that to me is worth the wait. Just my .02 cents and I look forward to everyones reaction to the GT40r kits hopefully very soon

Sean, I am just getting frustrated, because I was hoping to have some fun in this car this summer... Before I go back to school. But sometimes things don't work out. I know if I get a ride in someones car its gonna kill me that I sold mine. I understand its not your fault, I just hate it when manufactures play these games. I wouldn't mind waiting if they were upfront and said, look its gonna be 4 more weeks. I would be bummed, but I would have a timeframe.

Thanks
EMA

Come on Garrett!! Were is my freaken turbo???

Sean, If the rest of my kit is ready I would like to get it now so i can install everything. Just seems a big waste for my car and my time. This is my slow season at work but in about 2 weeks I will start working 40+HOURS unlike the 25-30 I put in now...Let me know if this is ok?

Everyone waiting I will throw in a free Trannybrace for the inconvenience, I am on the phone every chance I get so all I can do is say be patient I know it sucks. I have four cars here waiting as well, this doesn't include the other turbo's GT42R's I'm waiting on as I've said I'm at the top of the list so you guys will be first. I do have other shops trying to get these from me as well on a daily basis because they know my position as well.

Sean, a tranny brace is a nice gesture, that is what a good shop owner does when the cards arent going well. I know it isnt your fault garrett is slacking so hard, but a few people have been waiting 3 months with their cars down the whole time, I am lucky my stock twins are still holding up to the abuse I put them through on a daily basis. Keep us updated

Can any of you help me locate a dyno within 100 miles of York, PA so I can get some dyno sheets on the board for you guys? I am running 22LBS of boost on this kit and the the car screams.

I have been trying to contact KDR with no luck getting an answer back from them. I will try again tomarrow. Their new shop is only an hour from me....

sk8world, either I am not getting your emails or your not getting my replies. I'm not sure which, shoot me one, so I can see if it pops up when I hit the shop in the morning.

I talked to Skip at KDR today. Looks like I am going to get on the rollers next Friday. I'll post the results later that night. They are booked until Halloween, but I think they are going to squeeze me in. Fingers crossed.

Sure. I am running an Autronic SM2, Autronic 500R CDI box, Autronic Model A air fuel meter, 1000CC Delphi injectors on all four corners, Supra fuel pump, and SX adjustable pressure regulator. Running Sunoco 100 Octane all the time.

I like to be a little different....

By what I have been hearing/gathering and the way the car runs, at least 500RWHP at the boost levels I am at.

I gave a guy a ride who owns a newer Viper and he stated that my car pulls harder than his in forth gear.

My engine is street ported, running only the inner oil control ring, and dual port on the apex seal groove and running 14 degrees advance from 6000 to 7000, from 7000 to 8500 I am running 15 degrees at full boost.

Right now I am looking at vented hoods. That turbo makes some heat. I wish someone made a hood with a good size vent over the turbo. I am not into the cheese grader look.

By the way, take it easy on Sean. He will deliver. His support of his kit is second to none. Hang in there. As I siad before, it's worth the wait.
