What's this turbo?
I just got a new AiResearch T04B08 turbo for next to nothing. It's a .60 compressor and a .69 turbine. what does those numbers mean and is that any good? planning on using it in my FC if I can't get this other turbo, a T04E, whatever that is... heard the E is better than B??
Is there any good guides I can learn info about turbos from?
Thanks

Closest thing is a T04B S-trim?
If so, this is basically the same size as the stock Hitachi HT-18 on the FC turbo.

You need to do some research on tubos before you waste too much money on one for your car. The turbo you have is way way too small for a rotary. Its a $25.00 paper weight, even Honda guys go for something bigger. S trim referes to your compressor wheel and P trim is a turbine trim. Theres many trim levels per family (family would be T25, T3, T4, T6 etc.). Trim is a ratio of major and minor wheels either described in numeric form (such as a 57, or 60 trim) or in alpha numeric (S-trim, H-trim etc). Turbines in general use alphanumeric (such as N,O,P,Q trims).
Theres a wealth of knowledge on the net and this forum in particular. Search, read and get your learn on.
