What turbo to choose?

My factory twins have had it or so the mazda dealerships says, they said 4k to replace so I have decided to go single, what is best single for the money? I dont want more than 300 hp so I dont want a big turbo b/c I want to keep everything else stock. I have added a downpipe and exhaust already. Thanks

A TO4E is probably what you need. XS Engeineering has a street kit. Link: http://www.xs-engineering.com/produc...rger_kits.jsp#

Plus its under $4k. Street kit is $3599 and strip kit is $3899.

Also from what i heard this turbo builds boost fast, and is good for around 400HP without pushing it too much on a street port. And its not huge. So there will probably be a small difference between it and the stock twins in terms of turbo lag.

But this is from my point of view the best way. So my opinion might not matter since im a kid.

First i would never take my car to a dealer. They always diagnose boost problems as the "turbos are bad" typically and almost always isnt the case. I suggest going to an RX7 specialty shop. If we knew your area we would suggest one.
