What kind of Horse power can I expect with the following mods to my FD? I know this question has been asked but im trying to get an idea before I get my car back from being rebuilt.

How much PSI?

 

Haha, so your telling me you have an efni Y pipe, and a T-78? I gotta see this.

 

450 @ 15lbs. on pump maybe. You have stock ports?

 

Probably closer to 400 @15, maybe even as low as 380-390.

the guy I bought the car off of said that with the 3 bar map sensor and race gas i should get arounf 500 rwhp. It also has a streetport from RX7.com

 

the last time it was tuned it was at 15 PSI. Witht he 3 bar sensor should e able to increase the boost abit right?

 

you bought a pipe for twins and you run a single. If you have the reciept, try to get a refund.

the reciept shows the it was installed before the single turbo set up my apoligies. I quess my main question should have been how much diffrence will the 3 bar map sensor make. It was dynoed the first time at 411 rwhp on race gas w/o the 3 bar map sensor.

 

All the 3 bar map sensor will do is you can run more than 17psi of boost (the factory map sensor maxes out at 17psi). I think if you turn it up to say...24 psi then I can see 500rwhp on pump gas.

I was also told to never run it on pump gas past 10 psi. If goig to high boost on the boost controler i should run race gas ms109 or vp c12. I would think that the 3 bar map sensor does allow you more power due to the fact you can up your boost. I knew that the map sensor itself doesnt give you more power. Sorry I was vague on the question. Thanks Guys. Im learning... lol

 

Some guys run up to 20 psi on pump gas. It all depends on the tune.

16 is max safe boost on pump. (IMO) get AI and u will be set for a decent amount of boost.

 

I concure. I myself am only running 15 psi on pump gas. If I get meth injection and a 3 bar map sensor I might turn up the boost but for now 402rwhp is plenty.
