What gas stations do you go to (outside CA)

I was talking to a friend who owns an FD and he says he doesn't go to Sunoco stations (even though they're the only place around here you can get 94 octane) becuase they have some sort of weird mix in their gas. Anyone know anything about this?

If not, what stations should I stay away from, if they do funny things to their gas, or who should I look for?

I've had the best luck with 93 from both Citgo and Mobil. I've tried Sunoco 94, but I never got better performance. For the price they charge I can almost get 100 octane. So why bother?

It's about $1.95 near me. I tried it twice, and I didn't feel like it was worth it. Mobil 93 seems to be ok.

C16 from SK Speed is close to $10/gallon. Now THAT will give you your money's worth.

Yeah, my friend gets it from a place in NYC for about $3/gallon. His friend works at an airport and can get gas for next to nothing. I forget the octane rating, but I think it's over 100.

it was about $1.60 here in Michigan for 94 Octane at Sunoco. Anyhow, enough about gasoline prices.. these are the places you go to? Citgo and Mobil, not Sunoco?

I never liked Sunoco 94. It may be that alot of the stations mix the 91 and 94. A few years ago around here they found that it wasn't really 94, more like 92. 93 is about $1.65 here, while 94 is 30 cents more. Why spend more for something that may not be any better?
