A TO4 is a great turbo, with that exhaust housing and a ported motor you can hit 400rwhp.

Bigmack, as Soloracer probably told you, I run the same turbo except with a 1.15 a/r housing.. They are ford truck turbo's usually found on the 7.8litre and the detroit diesels..
My car will be on the road again shortly, however my dynochart is posted here, I was putting down 364 rwhp at 17 psi, they cut off the dyno run at 6600 rpm the hp was still climbing strongly at that point, there is no doubt in my mind if I had gone to 7500 rpm or 8000, I would have seen 300 ft/lbs of torque and 400hp+ at the wheels, all that on a loose s4 motor, with an FD motor and good porting, I am sure 425+ at the wheels is easily attainable...
You probably want to know what my car was like with the TO4E, basically the tach would bury itself instantly in 1,2,and 3 rd gear from 3500 rpm and up, the needle didn't climb like it did with the stock turbo, it actually instantaneously moved from 3500 rpm to 8000, part of that was the pretty intense power, the other part was the fact it was really hard to control the car, the tires spun all the time, even when rolling down an off ramp at 80 km/h's an hour, punch it in 3rd and the tires started to spin, which was kinda unnerving sometimes..
My transmission is making alot of noise since I did the big turbo swap, I need at least 2" wider rear tires to make use of the power, and my rear suspension is now pretty mushy, the car squats down about 4-5 inches on boost..
Its alot of work, and lots of headaches to get the turbo in, and running, I blew my motor, but damn, the last 3 months of driving that car was priceless, I have blown away cars that cost 4 times what my car did to build, and scared alot of people shitless with the open wastegate, which is worth the price of the turbo....Max
