I have a T66 thats water cooled and oil cooled,a lot of people said not to use the water ports cause all those extra water hoses sooner or later is going to leak ,whats your opinion.

Id use them, sooner or later anything is gonna have a problem, just keep your eyes on it. The turbo probally would be way better off with the cooling, and its not oil cooled , its oil lubricated

Use them!! Water cooling is a great oil cokeing preventative and helps stop heat soaking,, and its designed to be used that way.

If you have a water jacket on the CH, you can't just ignore it.&nbsp I don't think the oil is enough to suppress all the heat.&nbsp I have heard of folks using oil through the water jacket as a viable alternative.&nbsp I don't see why it's that hard to hook-up the coolant lines if you do have a water-cooled CH - your stock turbos already have the provisons for them?

If you're talking about going with a water-cooled CH versus a non-water-cooled CH, then go with the "dry" CH.&nbsp The water-cooled CH is just added protection - if you're disciplined to cool the turbo down after hard runs, there's no need for a water-cooled CH.

Use better water lines like hydraulic lines or SS lines (requires some modification).
