Wondering if you guys are all using an adapter/extension in order to get the wastegate relocated further from the manifold. The cooling fins on the greddy 47mm wastegate i'm going to use contact the manifold.

I have been kind of considering shaving some material off of the fins in order to tuck the wastegate right on the manifold.

i have about a 5" extension for the gate. 42mm innovative

 

Same here. About a 5" straight pipe with 4 bolt flanges on each end. Gate is a 45mm Greddy Type R

 

same here but i havent installed a downpipe yet and it doesnt look like it will be easy with that extension cause it dosent leave much space in that area

 

Meh, my down pipe has quite a bit of room. Enough that I can fit it through the area with a large 3 bolt triangular flange on the bottom end of the DP.
