turbo storage
is there any better way of storing my single turbo untill i'm ready to put it on? Right now I have it in a box with some news paper. Is there anything I should do to protect the oil seals and what not?

Really? Just set it aside with no oil in it?
I put a little fogging oil (oil specially designed for storing engines) in the oil inlet and drain and spun it a few times. Just to be sure. Not that it matters, looking at it the other day I noticed that one of the compressor blades is a little bent. (!) Oh well, worked fine before!

The turbos should have been assembled with some type of assembly oil, so the internals are supposed to be lightly lubricated.  If your shop doesn't use assembly oil, I'd highly suggest to find a new one.
