Either could reach your HP goal, it just depends how much boost you wish to run and how important response is to you versus that given boost needed. A good compromise between the two would be a GTX4294, it essentially has the ability to flow the same as the older cast 4202 but keep the response of the 4294.

Islander PM sent,

BW units are good solid units as well, I haven't had a chance to do a side by side against a comparable GTX. You can also get smaller inducer GTX's as well but they are special order.

Similar size but his flows 94lb per min. Yours might low high 70's to low 80's.

My old turbonetics t66 flow 65-70lbs/m and did 530whp.

Your previous post said 600rwhp plus, which this turbo will easily do. Keep in mind you were previously limited by you turbine wheel, so comparing compressors is only half of it.

the BW S400 FMW looks like a good recommendation given your objectives.

86 pounds per minute will more than do the job.

the price and build quality are right.

GTX4294 will be a bit more efficient on the compressor and response has the potential to be a bit better depending on the setup, GTX4202 is a very efficient compressor at the flow you are considering. The BW is a solid performer with that turbine though and I would say if you do buy the BW at least give the sale to Elliot over someone on ebay.

If i read map correct it make 86 pounds per minute under 0.65 efficient and very hi pressure ratio?
I know, pressure ratio is not boost pressure.
I think this 86 pounds per minute is absolute maximum for this 67mm compressor?
Sorry, i write very bad english.

Yes 600+ is under 700

yes i know at turbine wheel limit flow and need to think aggregate, turbo and 13b engine flow etc.

Do you know which one turbine is better for 700whp and hi engine rpm abaut 9000rpm:
Turbine: 87,37mm / 81,74mm / 1,10ar or 83,47mm /74,29mm/ 1.10ar

i probably choose between these turbo´s

S400 74mm (179174) 83mm turbine 1.10 a/r

I'm not telling you which turbo to pick but here is what I am using.

I have a full bridgeport 13B-REW with Cosmo upper and lower intake manifolds. I'm running an HPI (High Power Improvement) T4 exhaust manifold and a Borg Warner 475 with a 1.10 AR and 83mm exhaust wheel. It was the standard 75mm with no race cover. running a 4 inch exhaust from the turbo all the way back.

This set up made 703 RWHP at 23psi on E85 only (no race gas, no water injection) on Steve Kans dual eddy current mustang dyno. When we took it to a dynojet to see what it would make there since the majority of people on this forum post dynojet numbers it put down 810 RWHP at 23psi. We didn't change anything, just made a few runs.

I personally like the "low" readings better of a mustang dyno since it is in my opinion more accurate.

Here is a dyno graph of the set up. It revs up to 10,500 RPM's. Its all done on stock bearings, 2mm Rotary aviation black supper seals, atkins solid corner seals. No stud kit, no extra dowl pins. 6000 miles on this set up with zero issues getting beat on daily. Oh I run 1 ounce of Benol castor oil premix per 1 gallon of E85.

For ECU I'm running Motec M84

For ignition I'm running an M&W Pro 14R and I'm using Honda CBR coils. They are coil on plug. Spark plugs are 11.5 NGK race plugs.
