turbo question, nobody in FC3 sect knows

Anyone have specifics on compressor housing size in a/r and inlet/outlet sizes for stock 87TII?

I remember the compressor housing being something like .54 and the inlet is 2.5" outlet is 2".

they are small, they'll only feed like 260HP max

Is that 2.5" on the OUTSIDE of the compressor inlet, or the INSIDE? Just curious.

I believe its the outside. A 2.5'' coupler slides on pretty easily.

Well, the turbo I've been playing with has a 1.54" inside diameter on the inlet. I'll see your ******* tiny and raise you a really wee.

Must be a 4 banger turbo

I'd guess its about a 2'' ID inlet.
(stock on left)

Damn.... yah you're right though, the turbo's sized for a 1.3-1.6l boinger, but Isuzu decided to attach it to a 2-liter. Make boost off idle and restricted power to 140hp.

Two of 'em might be neat on a 13B though!

well, no, actually the JR Impulse, the RS Turbo was a JI body and was a 1.6l.

Same turbo, though
