Turbo Blankets (HSP)

I saw the group buy that pluto is running but even at 130 it seemed a bit steep. I found one that speed machine is selling for much less. It is made by Heat Shield Products and is called the Stealth turbo wrap. Anyone use it? Is it hard to install/customize for each turbine housing?

The same blanket I know is around $70-80 at cost. Maybe a little less or maybe a little more. I at one time had a deal to get one for $85 brand new from a "distributor" here in dallas. Supposedly everyone around town gets them from this "distributor".

The turbo blanket itself is only 60. I already have the downpipe wrapped.

If you look at the instructions it tells you how to measure the turbine housing and how much material is in the kit. That should tell you whether it can be made big enough.

Different materials would justify different prices. My Australian blanky cost me $300 or $400 but i'm sure I paid alot for the stictched Garrett logo which wasn't what sold me. They claimed to be the best blanket. I'm not sure if they still claim that but they made it seam like they blew the other ones away as far as retaining heat and not falling apart over time.
