Alright i have got a new turbo to try, Not sure what it will be like, Rebuilt TurboCharger, T4Rotary FC3S/FD3S (Thats whats stampd on it), A/R's = .60 Front 1.15 Rear, The last onwer had it in a 13bt 323, It made 230 rwhp at 7psi at 7000rpm ....



Set up :

S1 RX7
S4 13b Half bridge
Locked S2 Dizzy
MT4 Comp
Stock S5 Turbo on it at the moment,
Pretty happy with it but want more power, Boost an RPM ..

Now i got it as a rebuilt turbo (got reciepts), He had done 500km on it, Theres some up an down play in it, thats ok as far as i understand (most turbo's are like that) But this one has got a bit of end play, The guy said that is normal to because it's a ball bearing turbo ? What do you guy's think ? Are they suposed to have front to back play ?

 

That is not a ball bearing turbo. Its also an ebay turbo if its marked T4 rotary. I would stay away.

 

eBay China charger, it's a POS and it's NOT ball bearing, the guy is really un-informed and ignorant, or trying to make a quick sale by playing on your ignorance. It's worth roughly $20. As in TWO ZERO, if you have that to throw away. Matter of fact, just go ahead and take a twenty out now and set it on fire, same effect unless you like $20 paper weights.
