There's a handfull of guys out there using one. I plan to on my winter project FC.
I'm not sure off hand of any pre-made adaptor kits - I was just going to have a local CNC machine shop fab one up for me.

I'm actually going to have the machine shop make a new bellhousing for me, so they can incorperate the starter in at the same time.
From everything I've heard/read the gearbox should fit inside the tunnel without need to hack the floor or firewall. Of course new mounts need made.
I haven't had a chance to take some measurements of the tunnel to confirm this yet though.
I don't have the papers here at work with me, but Dyson Rotary emailed me a diagram and quick write up on getting the clutch working. I'll see if I can find it tomorrow.

Will your starter be mounted in the standard position or will it be mounted in 20B style.
Looking forward to seeing the diagram once you find it or any additional information you may have.

Still can't find that email they sent, I'm going to email them back and try to get a bit of info, but they usually are pretty busy.
I was planning on mounting it standard style, but since I do not have any good information or pictures of this install, I really do not know what to look for yet until I have both the engine and transmission on hand and ready to adapt.
I'll be more likely playing it as it goes, I'm sure as hell no expert in this field
Someone else I'm sure can chip in here with more usefull info than I'm supplying?

Read the link I posted in my last reply, so around $300 for that exact one, but other than that I do not know since I do not know of any other companies that make them (most would be custom work)

I can make one and was planning on making one for my T5. But i would rather buy one since there only 300 bucks. ( it' would take me all day to make i rather pay for it)
Kennedy is the company who makes one. At least the one i was going to use.

No it's not a full out sequential unit.
It's stock in many cars and manufactured by Borg Warner.
You can find it in all Vipers as well as LS1 powered F-body cars. There are a few variants of the transmission around - the "strong" version is rated by the factory at 450 ft-lbs of torque, this is the one in the Viper.
It's also in some Corvettes and Mustangs but I'm not sure exactly which models.
No matter which model, you're looking at a 1995+ vehicle.
You can buy them new for around $1200-$2000 depending where you shop, or get from a junkyard for less. They are on ebay regularly enough.

Only 450ft-lbs though? I wonder if that would be strong enough to support a 20B powerplant?? I know that the stock FD tranny sure as hell can't. That's why I was interested in it.

Many Viper/Vette/Stang owners are putting 800,900,1000 whp through this stock unit so it should handle a 20B without problem.
As Peejay mentioned, your gear ratios may not be optimal in stock form.

I dunno about you turbo guys (not one yet... the absurd gas pricing makes me want a turbo, 92/93 octane is only 5% more expensive than 87: what's the big deal between $1.90 and $2.00?) but I get best mileage driving in 4th gear, although people look at me funny as I buzz 4500-4700 down the highway.
