Fro, how come your To4Z doesn't have to holes drilled into the compressor inlet cover?

Cause thats a dicky HKS job that makes a "riced up" whistle and reduces spool time as a result

It broadens map at expense of spool time.

We have OEM Garrett TO4Zeeee's

reduces spool time? i heard it increased spool time (made it laggier) but has the anti-surge or whatever now.
also makes a crazy super turbo spool sound, new and improved.

how much are your garrett t04z's running you guys?

The z is thrust iirc. The benfits of this is higher cooling efficiency.

Rice when searching on this a bit I spent some time talking to a good friend yesterday. If the part numbers are correct he said the one thing he noticed with putting this cartridge in back to back on the dyno was cooler EGT's and boost went up a bit. He was a little confused because the part numbers didn't match, but the moment I described the turbine wheel he knew immediately. It's also not listed as a P-trim wheel.

here it is 451 at the wheels, bit of a bad pic but you get the idea.

Great stuff

I am pulling engine this week, will be full street ported running 2mm 2 piece ceramic seals with WI too, Hopefully punch out some real good number on 1.7 ~ 1.9bar boost.

What are you using for springs with the 2mm ceramics? I though NRS was out?

So what RPM would a aggressive street port with the T04Z be looking at 1 Bar with a 1.00 .vs. 1.15 A/R?
