tial 38mm ext w/g on stock s4 turbo manifold

and now pictures from another friend of mine who's helping me out w/ my overhaul, elliot. www.turblown.net

heres my solution to boost creep w/ the s4 hybrid. garrets old hybrid turbo btw. its a h-trim.

http://www.pbase.com/meanrex/externally_wg...hybrid_s4_turbo

elliot decided where to mount the wg, punched the hole, and is doing all of this work, along w/ rebuild my turbo and coating my turbo, turbo manifold, downpipe, and intake manifolds. on all of the parts involved w/ intake air get ceramic on the outside, teflon like coating on the inside. all exhaust parts get ceramic both inside and out. hopefully this will really help w/ controlling the heat and saving some rubber hoses and my paint and intake temps as well as i can from here on.

im going w/ all the facotry accessories and "full" emissions. so its gonna sitll be crowded as **** in the engine bay, keeping the stock fan and shroud too.

Lemme know what you think? I just saw these pics and am happy. looks like boost creep will be no problemo

w/g is a tial 38mm, like roths/g-rats/ryans car has duals of.

More to come, thanks to Glen and E and a few other friends from phoenix making this work w/ me out of state.
Rotorheads truely are most of my good friends.

Looks good, I did somthing like that on my hybrid s5 turbo, I used a 50mm WG and dumping it wide open, have yet to test it.

yours looks like it should work good.

Good idea. Hate when people come in after the fact and say "you should of done it this way" but that's what I'm going to do. The re-entry of the WG dump at that sharp angle and being so close to the turbine outlet is hardly ideal. If space were available it would of been better from a performance stand point to rotate the WG 180* so that you could lengthen the dump and route it back into the downpipe further downstream at a lower angle.

Unfortuneatly he wants this all hidden from view. Smog **** in CA...
Its defineatly too close to the turbine, and the entry angle isn't the best. Chances are this is going to work just fine however. Open dump would have been nice...
