Yes you can but what do you mean by "stock"?

You'll need a manifold for the turbo, down pipe, etc. Then do fuel upgrades.

if it was for everyday street use I would go with a to4e, you will spool sooner and it will be more fun to drive. the rx7.com car doesn't even use that big of a turbo, you would have to spray just to spool or rev up to 12000.

niether of you know what you are talking about obviously. With the proper ports, a T-88 will do just fine on the streets with no NOS. And by the way, the T-88 is EXACTLY what the RX7.com car uses, you should look at it sometime and stop reading magazines.

first learn how to read, then go on rx7.com and go to drag car profile. notice it is a T78 not a T88.

Pennywise,
First you should stop giving everything you read so much credit. Ive SEEN the car and my freind Demetrios used to be sponsored by them. Second, if you think about it, most of that profile is pure BS. It would be very hard to make that power on a T78, and much easier with a T-88. Ive seen the turbo itself, he took a T-88, put some garret internals in, changed the exhaust housing, and then slaped the T-78 badge on it. Why would he want everyone to know which turbo he has? Its kind of like him saying he runs only ONE RP fuel pump, which doesnt really support that much power. Stop beliveing everything you read.

The T88 will fit but you'll have to either bang the crap outta your downpipe or shave your lower intake manifold.

I could've swore RP used a T78 in their race car. I have a T78 and it's laggy already. I would never recommend a T88 for street use unless it was coupled with nitrous. Like someone else mentioned I would go with a TO4E or a Apex IHI for street use. The Apex kit spools just as fast as the stock twins with alittle more high end.
