T67 Wastegate Question

I just purchased a T04r from the rx7 site and I wanted to hear some opinions from people on which wastegates are the best bang for the buck. First off, it's my daily driver and I'm looking to run roughly around 5psi around town and no higher than 20psi for racing/playing around with. I was looking at the HKS Standard Wastegate which seems to be exactly what I want, but it seems a bit pricey. Are there any cheaper alternatives that work just as well that you guys have used?

5 psi around town? hope you meant 15....

Get a tial wastegate, you won't be sorry. The 44 or 46mm. Wastegate is not something you want to skimp on. Cheap wastegates can cause boost creep or leak causing boost spike causing detonating causing $$$$$

I recommend Tial, and I'll be using dual 38's.

Ok, that's the one I was thinking about buying. I wasn't going to buy a cheap one, I just didn't wanna buy an HKS product when there could be a better/cheaper alternative :p

HKS Always has a huge mark up.... Tial has a pretty solid rep. Just pick up one with a 1 bar spring so you can just run it on wastegate spring pressure on the street. Good a boost controller for your higher boost levels. Plus they are vband, so you don't have to worry about leaks or bolts coming loose. (44mm) I think the 46mm is a bolt pattern.

If you want to run 5psi around town, I would get the tial 60mm. Chances are you've probably got a 3" exhaust and its a 1.0 P trim turbine right?

I think I'm going to get the 1.0 bar spring on the Tial 44mm. I don't know any thing about turbo set ups, I just want to run the lowest amount of boost I can while I'm driving to work/school so I'm not burning gas. My uncle's building this car for me and it's a .84 trim.
