T6 turbo gasket blowing out

It's visibly warping... and sounds terrible on my 20B. It's one of those really thin stainless gaskets.

Where can I get a gasket that can seal really well (i.e. thick) and holds up to extended hi-temp abuse?

We sell inconel gaskets that can take a lot more abuse than the standard SS units. They aren't cheap however..

if its warp take off the manifold and have a machine shop resurface the flange. only way ur gonna fix that problem. if you replace the gasket as soon as it gets hot it's gonna start leak and burn the new gasket out. just my 2 cents.

hi temp ceramic silicone

i a friend told me that jim wolf ( nissan guru) sells a high temp 2000F ceramic cylicone which should hold up. I went to Home Depot and bought some in a caulking tube that is meant for fireplaces. It should work and hardens to cement.

Resurfacing is the best way, I wouldn't use the ceramic silicone paste-it's just a band aid, not a solution.

Got 4 packs of custom T6 flanges from Remflex (8 total). I'll stick these in first to try, they should hold up as they are 1/8" thick and compress 50% and reusable.

I'll let you'all know how it's working out (can just pull the turbo up a little since I'm using 4 bolts and slide this in).

Let me know if anyone else want a pack (contains 2 gaskets), I'll sell it for my cost.
