T4 turbo help?
Im looking for a T4 turbo so I can close this project up soon. I have a guy selling one and its a Garret TO4B with 3" intake, 2.5" compressor wheel, 2" discharge, 3" exhaust turbine, 4 bolt exhaust flange, and a 3" exhaust outlet. Turbo has a .80 A/R on the intake side and a .96 A/R on the exhaust side. OIL cooled only I believe will be used on a greddy cast manifold and a TiAL 40MM External Waistgate if I get it.
The motor is a S4 with ITO's street port with a lot of the other mods needed to push the boost but searching around on these forums the 60-1 seems to be the one to go with.
Would this turbo be to much for the motor?
The turbo is only oil cool, can I loop the coolant around back into the block without worries?
I dont know much about turbo's and any help or direction would be appreciated with this..

you can either loop the coolant or block it off. The best way is to drill, tap, and plug the water ports, but rubber hose caps should do just fine.
Your specs don't give enough information about the turbo. Each wheel (compressor and turbine) have two measurements each. Doing more research before starting your project will make the process go much smoother. Here is a nice place to start: http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...ch_center.html
