Opinions on this Ebay Manifold (not SSAC)

Just wondering about this manifod. I've never seen it and was wondering if anyone has used this style before. What kind of wastegate is that flange setup for? One thing I don't like about(other than the very low price) is the wastegate runners are angled back towards the motor. Not good for flow?
Also, when replying to this post, please mention if you've had ANY first hand experiences with this product before. Thanks

Its just an SSAC copy, and I'm willing to bet its garbage just like the rest of them. Look how thin the flanges are.

I do not have first hand experience with this product.

However, it looks just like all the other manifolds that show up on ebay for 100-200. As with everything, you get what you pay for. this will probalby work as well (or lack thereof) anyother manifold that you can get in that price range off ebay. I suppose it all depends on what you want or expect out of a product.

Just being tubular doesn't really make it better than a generic cast manifold (ah la HKS). Honestly, if you aren't going to get an equal tuned length manifold that is fully divided, then I'm not exactly sure what the point of buying a "tubular" manifold is? It's going to be less reliable than a cast piece (cracking welds, potential warping/sealing problems).

Do they work? sure Can you say you have a tubular manifold? sure Is the performance better than a cast manifold? maybe Is it going to work as well as a properly designed setup. I highly doubt it.

But most people aren't willing to pay what it takes to get a "real" properly designed manifold. To each his/her own. Just don't expect the full performance benefits for 1/5 the cost.

My $.02
Chris

its a copy of the old style ssac. Why not just get the ssac/xs power one for cheaper then that.

The newer series of ssac/xs power ones have much thicker flanges and piping.

But even posting this thread will start another ssac war thread. So if YOU trust them, go for it. If you dont then dont. I personally a ssac/xs power one and i like it, but do what you want to do.

Dont buy that ebstore one. The flanges are too thin and odds are it will warp more then it already is.

and thats that.

MODS CLOSE THIS THREAD PLEASE

I did'nt know it was the SSAC Manifold. I would'nt have posted this if I knew. I own the newer version of theirs and I am very happy with it. I ran across this one and thought it might be something new to the 7 market.
Thanks for the replies! shut it down, D
