T04E turbo potential

I'm just curious of the potential of a T04E A/R .50 coldside and A/R .63 hotside if I have 1300cc injectors and all supporting mods. Around what whp would I be looking at?

You need to tell us the compressor wheel trim.
T04E comes in anything from a "40" to a "60" trim compressor wheel.
We're talking about power potential anywhere from 200hp to up past 400...

The compressor wheel is a 50 trim.

the 50 trim flows 48 pounds per minute max at 65% efficiency at 21 psi. a workable formula is 1 rotary rear wheel hp takes 1.92 CFM.

48 * 14.471 = 695 CFM/1.92 = 361. that is MAX hp. you probably won't quite make max...

further, w re to the turbo... the hot side A/R is really too small at T3--.63. a small hotside is exactly what the rotary doesn't need. back pressure, higher EGTs and eventually the casting might split due to heat.

just cruising you'd be o k but serious pedal mashing may cause eventual problems w a .63 T3.

If your lucky! I pulled an easy 350wrhp at 14lbs with my set up. I have a t04e 56mm with a 86 hotside. To match that I have a divided greddy tubler manifold with all the fuel mods . I'll post a dyno sheet tonight.
Thanks Robert

Thanks guys for the help and info. A friend of mine basically was given a rebuilt turbo for free (still had all the caps and everything on it, but it was taken apart) I was just wondering if I should throw an offer on it, but considering that is not close to my horsepower goal...I'll pass. This really helped clear up a few things for me.

Here was my dyno at 12psi. I had a to4e .84 a/r not sure on the other specs. It spooled fast just not a lot top-end. I trapped 114 in the 1/4.

I've done 300rwhp @ 14psi on a engine making 70psi compression using an ecu where we couldn't tune ignition advance. That was on a dyno dynamics dynometer also. After running 23psi on the turbo for quite sometime I'm sure it was near 400rwhp, still kicking myself in the *** for not redynoing, but then again we all know how accurate chassis dynos are...
