I think dyno charts will show more information than spool by what RPM. It also shows the ramp up rate for a turbo.

I purchased a GT3574R turbo because of the power delivery/shape of the power curve. Comes on smooth and steady and builds through out the RPM range.

Others build faster but make the car less drivable. Others come on later and hit very hard, which makes them unstreetable IMO as well.

 

I was looking at some dyno sheets and the GT35R/3574R turbo's were making 200WHP before 4,000 RPMS. I would say betweem 3,600-3,800 RPM range.

I did not see a single other turbo, stock or single turbo, do that when looking through people's dyno charts.

 

Yes, that is exactly what I focus on when looking graphs. The gt35R/3574R/TD61series turbos all seem to hit 200whp before 4000rpm and all are pretty much capable of making 500-530whp. I believe that as track/street car, 400-500whp is pretty much the max you may want to go and thus for me and many other members such turbo's are ideal.

I havnt really seem dyno graphs of bwS360 series turbos between 15-20psi but I am curoius as to how they will compare to the garret based turbos. I would def love to overlay such dyno graphs.
