Single Dowpipe ?

Anyone know of a good single turbo dowpipe with a Vband on it? Been looking around and only found the rx7store.net one. Surely there are others? Or did you guys just have an exhaust shop fab one up?

thanks!

The problem being each manifold might require a different downpipe.

I've got a 4 inch downpipe that I'll sell. It's got the vband flange on it and I'll even provide the clamp.

let me know if you're interested, it's just taking up space

i have the same problem except no one around here makes decent downpipes. i swapped turbos and now my old dp will not fit! the old one i had fabricated really sucks so i wont go back to that shop. Unfortunately, pretty much everyone else within towing distance sucks worse. There is a place like 45 minutes away though that does all mandrel bent stuff. Would it be ok to drive with just my old dp on the highway for 45 minutes? What do i risk (aside from a ticket)?

do you have any tools? hell you oculd buy yourself a hacksaw if oyu dont mind it taking a while to cut through a pipe. if you have anyway of cutting metal buy yourself a few bends and piece it together. hose clamps and tape work well to hold things together. usually 2 45 bends and some strait piping do the trick. take the thing you mocked up to a welder and have them tig it. should cost much

gonna pass on it but i appreciate the offer. I monky-ed around with the dp that's on the car and finally got it to line up.

I was just curious what you guys were using since I was about to panic from the new turbo to dp fitment.

Seems like someone smart would make them for the rx7 since everyone appears to just be DIY-ing it.

Most people dont just make the downpipe because every turbo sits in a different spot depending on the manifold you use. The one we make works with cheaper manifolds like the XS power, SS autochrome etc..

Good to know b/c it used to sit fine until I picked up the Aspec GT3574. That turbo seems to sit a tad bit lower than the other on I had.

I think I got it sorted out but was concerned that the downpipe was the problem as the previous owner was the one that put it on the car. It actually looks homemade -- so I was starting to wonder about it.

Thanks for the input guys!
