While I agree, I think he means, the max leaving the stock port as the bottle neck.

92 octane huh? You should stay within the 15-17 PSI range, unless youre running water injection or something else to stop the HEAT!

There are several factors and we can chat about them if you like. my IM is mik3ymomo. I run 15 as my high boost right now. I have a 2 row FMIC and its efficiant to 15 psi but you can run a bit more but your risking several factors. Risks include getting a bad tank of gas. happens alot more than you think. Your motor will blow and can take your new expensive turbo out with flying metal goin into the exhaust side. Thats expensive. I suggest you run your single at 15 psi and see what its like before thinking you need to run more boost. I have 400 at the wheels at 15 psi with my GT3540, You may run a bit less but those extra pounds of boost are really not worth it for a street car. Unless your running at the track with low ET's in mind 15 psi on a single is more than enough on the street. Traction is a problem at 15 psi with 285 30 18 S-03's on the rear. Whats another 30-40 hp good for when you cant hook at 15 with street tires. I know this will be a street car otherwise you would have gone with a larger turbo. The motor will hold together much longer when your not running it on the razors edge. Of course if money is no issue and its not your daily driver you can run alot of boost through a stock ported motor, Just know it wont last long at all. Ever ride in a single turboed FD at 15 psi? I suggest doin that if you havnt. Also think of the clutch you will need. I run a 6 puck and its pretty grabby compared to a stock type. You will need one of you plan to run 15-17 psi. Or you will be replacing clutches fairly often depending on how much you drive it. Give me a hollar and we can see what your trying to do with the car.
