signs of a failing arm uego
What are the signs of an AEM uego that is failing? I just got tuned and it was reading properly on the dyno, matching the tuner's wideband, but now a few days later it seems like its lagging in response. Sometimes it stays at 14.7 no matter what I do, other times it seems to follow what the actual exhaust seems to put out. I'm just wondering if its the AEM failing or if its signs of my pump failing?
Much more likely the sensor is failing. First sign it's failing is that it's an AEM. They puke sensors fairly regularly. Buy a replacement and try it. If that doesn't solve the issue, at least you have a spare.
One way to tell if the pump is up to par is to monitor fuel pressure. See the fuel pressure thread a few hits down the page.
