full function engineering fuel rails

Hello ladies and gents

I have a question for anyone using FFE rails with ID injectors. I am having a bit of trouble with fitment any help is appreciated.

The primaries dont seem to fit with the hardware that was supplied, I have inserted the injector boss and when i put the injectors in it seems that the setup is too tall for the bolts to line up with the threads and when i take the bosses out it seems that it is still too tall and also the injector just flops around in the injector housing. Is there any combination that will give me better results? what am i doing wrong?

Thanks,

Elliot

What did FFE say when you asked them?

What size injectors are those?

Did you purchase both the primary/secondary rails with injectors for them?

I'm using FFE rails in both and also have ID's for both. For mine the Primary injectors are taller and don't require the purple tophats, the secondary injectors are shorter and require the purple top hats.

Try fitting it with just the injectors and the rail (leave the blue cups in the bottom).

Thats what i did... Just took the adapter off the primaries and secondaries and that allowed me to bolt them down. seems like the secondaries required the removal of the (top hat) too. i have the ID 2000.

^If you're running the ID2000's and the 34mm stands than yeah, you won't need any top hats.

I'm running 1000's in primary and 2000's in secondary. On the secondary rail with the 48mm stands you need those top hats on, 34mm should fit right in without a fuss (make sure you're using the supplied blue cups though).

Glad it was an easy problem to fix! =)
