Here are some pics of the GT35/40 kit with the WG dumping back into the DP. You can also see the flex piece incorporated into the dump.

You're right on the mark oy. The tube cuts off just a hair below the downpipe, so we'll either have to put a very tight bend in it or chance having it rub the ground. Or maybe cut some of the pipe off, but it's already pretty short.

I have mixed feeling about the open wastegate sound. I don't think it sounds "good" by any stretch, but it does sound mean. Seems to get you more respect on the street, too. When some disrespecting Honduh tries to race you and you give em a little wastegate noise, it seems to take the fight out of them . Love using it to show my displeasure with dumb moves by other drivers too....

But like someone else said, wide open's cool, but you do get the fluttering sounds at half throttle, and they don't sound so great. And it draws way too much attention when you're doing things you shouldn't be. I still like the sleeper mentality. If I could have 400hp in a silent car, I'd probably go that route.

So it's looking like I probably won't change anything until sombody or something makes me.....

Even if it is a 25 - 30 horsepower decrease I could live with that. Has anyone ever set up a dumptube with a dump in it. So if your at the track or you want to rip some *** around town you can just disconnect the plumbing into the downpipe? I know that this is a V8 thing but it would be nice.

jhammerrx7 I considered a similar setup, maybe rigging up something with this:
http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/qtec.htm

If there was space, it would be pretty damn cool to run a midpipe off one line, and a cat and quiet catback off the other. Then use the same switch to run the Vette electric air pump....if I lived in CA I would probably REALLY consider this....but bottom line is there just isn't enough space. Fun to dream though...

But I think you would need to be careful with your fuel maps. I'm pretty sure you would need to develop two maps and switch them using the Datalogit to make this work optimally, since the open dumptube is going to give you a lot more flow.
