Yep, Denver of the east baby! Off of Webbs Rd. Good deal on the Maxton. I have told the wife that if I use a S475 it will be for a Maxton engine Can't wait to see your car in person at a cruise.

then its just a case of trying to work out what you will loose from the smaller wheel and rear turbine.

Id imagine you wont loose a massive amount at only 15psi, just will hurt you higher in the boost range, but to be fair, 420whp is 500bhp at the fly, that a genuinely fast car, at 1250kg thats as quick as older supercars.

i did think about the big rear wheel like enzo but 5300rpm before 15psi is a bit high really if you not reving the motor hard.

ill let you know how i get one, im shooting for 700bhp to take the european rotary top speed record, ive got a build thread on english forums but not 100% sure if people will be interested over here
you need to keep in mind that enzo's was with a stock port motor, hence the slow spool.

Care to share when your turbo spooled. I know you wont post dyno numbers, but maybe spool characteristics and when you hit full boost would be nice...

Here is the 2010 schedule for the Maxton Mile. I got this from the East Coast Timing Association's website. Hopefully we can make one or more of these events as a group.

– The 2010 event schedule is as follows:

•April 10-11
•May 22-23
•June 26-27
•September 25-26
•October 30-31

I think we going in May. My buddy said thats when he's gonna go. I think a group from Lee's performance is going in May so we plan to tag along.

Met a 81 year old guy that is a avid racer. Mr. Williard Kinzer, he will be renting Rockinham Dragway out in a few weeks. So i'm gonna try to take the car there..

I had to change my starter and the car is back at Rotorsports. Soon all the local guys can get together and meet somewhere once the weather gets better. Me catch-22 and jc have been hanging recently, pm your number so we can link up..

Wow. I did not realize that that huge S475 spooled so well...

Correct me if I am wrong but many 500r owners are seeing 15 lbs at around the same 4000 rpm as you are. I wonder if this will be the new ticket for people who want to track their car. I know the drag race crowd has already taken to it. Any thoughts?

Great build BTW.

im sure i read that alot of the 500r guys are getting 15psi by 3500rpm but i could be wrong.

4k is nothing to be sniffed at for that size turbo, sounds like a great street turbo! im just gonna be interested to see when he gets it on the dyno to see at what rpm the power falls off from the little rear end, if it holds high then this will give a great power band

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crWcH...eature=related

thats with a 1.1 rear end and on his logs he hits 15psi at 4k aswell, but he has a 5inch downpipe and 4inch exhuast so that might help.

is yours 4inch all the way to the end?

I got a 4" exhaust from turbo back.. Yeah i was kinda worried about the small hotside, but the butt dyno feels great. Pulls hard all the way thru. The weather is really bad here so dyno is out for this week.

Hoping for next week.

HOw much mph do you think the gearing will provide?

depends on what rpm he makes max power

running 255/40/17 on a stock 4.1 diff, 4520rpm is 100mph going off the gps, so that will change slightly for his tyres, if he revs to 9040rpm then hes doing 200mph, if not then we can work out pretty easy.

Sounds great. Question? Does the 6 speed give you more top end speed? Or is it about the same with shorter gears to accomodate the extra gear.

Because you definately have the power and i'm thinking with a extra gear that will be to your advantage.. hmmmmm..

And also i will try to keep as much info about local track days and events so all are welcome..

When our new track opens for the season some of you guys need to come check it out. The Zmax dragway in Concord NC. 4 lanes of absolute madness. Concrete surface and its heated all the way from start to finish. They can determine the temp of the track surface with the turn of a button. I have yet to run any car there yet, but the silver fat girl will make a pass there pretty soon.

From what i have noticed is that my TII is about 30 MPh per gear, that is if i only rev to 7,000.
My gears and MPH at 7,000 rpms

1st = 30 -32
2nd = 60
3rd = 90
4th = 120
5th = never topped it out.

Also. I figured every extra 1,000 rpms per gear is bewteen 5 - 10 mph extra..

You can definitely count me in on a ZMax meet. Maybe my rx7 club that meets in Mooresville will come down too?

Man i cant wait. I wanna see the rx7 represent at the track. Even if we dont run them and kill them, atleast show up.

My crew consist of 3 turbo m3's, a 830hp supra, a 700hp supra, 2jz IS300, nitrous fed m6, 997 porsche that runs 10.4's in the 1/4, and the fastest e55 on the east coast and I'm just trying to fit in with the rx7...lol.

So the more 7's the better.

Me and catch-22 was hanging all day today. He made a new charge pipe for his setup. We were at BRE all day today. He was happy with how things turned out. We had planned to dyno also, i didnt have my car with us and by the time we got done and i went to get my car it started raining, and i dont have windshiled wipers. So next week we are hoping to see some results.

Gotta be the vg30et... Just sounds soooooo fast.

Guy ask "hey is that rx7 fast"

Dude replys "nah but i bet that vg30et is" in your face.

Honestly i dont even know what that engine code stands for. That question is like the one ive been asked all day today... "Who do you think is gonna win the super bowl"...

Me: "dude i dont even know who's playing"

I'm so lame.... lol

I didnt source the belts yet. Tweak-it has belt info on his instruction packet he sends with the pulley. I got to go out of town for the weekend so next week i will get a belt, might wait and get a set of greddy pullies also.

Was gonna try to hit the dyno and see what she has at 15psi. I seen another thread of a S372 that did 449@15psi....wow. and 568@24-25psi.. nice. Bout in the same area im looking for as far as power.

Im gonna order the pump-less water injection setup and see how that works. Then i will get a 20-25 psi tune.

Well i hit the dyno today. Went to get a pipe welded on catch22 car and ended up strapping them to the dyno.

The car laid down 396hp and 325tq at 15psi on a dyno dynamics. It was really rich and a little fuel was pulled out but it still needs a good tune.

Im happy with that for now. Probably can pull more hp out but for now that will do.
