S475 widebody build....

Whats up everyone. I am starting a thread to introduce myself and my build to the forums.

Its not a crazy epic build but more of a cookie cutter project. I am building a 93 fd with a pettit wide rear. Nothing much has happened since i bought the car other than buying parts. I have big plans for the car and hope they all come to life. I have photos im gonna try to share and hope you guys like.

I will be looking for advice and help in my build so please voice your concerns, opinions, likes, dislikes, etc....

Thanks for looking.

Neal

Poor car looks neglected. The widebody looks pretty nice though. Is the front going to be wider?

Neglected=yes. I think it sat for 2-3 years. It had a 20b in it. i really wanted a shell and found this. My mechanic/friend Bryan told me no matter how i do it i wll spend 15k+...If i buy one done or build it the way i want.., .

The body is in great shape so is the interior, it just all in pieces. Next step is motor and clutch. Still also need radiator and turbo. Once the motor is in all the wires and fuel lines will be done.

So far the body will remain stock fenders in the front. Im undecided on the front end and hood as of now. Just wanna get it running then make it pretty later..

Rear tire 335/30/18, front tires 285/30/18..... 255/35/18 for now (want to see how that looked)
Port- either full bridge or large street port.
Power goals- street 550-575, dyno 600-700 queen for a day..lol
Cars use- street beast, weekend dragstrip.

Yeah it was jon (allrotor93) car. It had a 20b in it. Im starting with the rew. I got a pfs manifold, dp and full 4" exhaust. PFS diff cradle, pfc, 1600 sec, turbosmart fpr, 4" thick fmic, greddy elbow...etc..

I need to get my motor built, clutch act extreme 6 puck, need coilovers, radiator, and then the nic naks of wires, fuel lines, hoses and stuff.

I got my Shine Auto front bumper in. Fitment looks great, out for paint now...

Motor build took a bad turn. It is now in the hands of Bryan at Rotorsports Racing in Kannapolis.
Was gonna do a stock port motor just to say i did, but now its getting a nice streetport.

Wanted to atleast get this damn car done before the first of the year, but that doesnt look feasible..

I like your build, good luck to you.

However, just one Q or concern. I dont have a FMIC so I not positive. But I was under the impression that the reason why I always saw intercoolers with the endtanks facing AFT under the radiator was because of the oil coolers. Is your piping going to be able to clear the coolers. Just wanted to throw that out there, lmk if Im wrong.

Are the wastegate runners 90 degrees to the manifold or am i just seeing things? I think the i/c will be fine though, the picture doesnt give it justice to how much room there actually is.

Manifold is a pfs design. Not sure how much the 90 degree wastegate positions will affect anything.

Final assembly was stopped because i didnt have the primary rail injector spacers. hmmm..

Ordered and on the way.

Borg Warner S475, 75mm, .80 rear housing, T6 - 4" vband turbo on the way. Done by Miketurbo.com

Manifolds are coated with kool chrome outside and teflon coating inside. Rotorsports Racing did the coating. It supposed to help with heat and air flow... I guess lol... Bling, bling factor for me. Hopefully i can get the goodfellas chrome kit to accent the motor as well..

Thanks for looking.
