I was at my buddies shop and he had a customer that had a leak of some kind coming from his car. Well he put the car on the lift and you could see the fluid all over the bottom of the car. But there were a few different leaks. So the question was asked "is this the fluid you have been seeing?"

The customer takes his finger, swipes the bottom of the tranny and licks it............ YUP thats it.. Fuggin classic move if i've ever seen one.

So i was browsing thru my pics and found this! lol. When i got my rims i played with them all night. Rolled them around, had my son playing in them, pics galore.......etc... So i found this pic funny... Another crazy thing we do.....

I hear that man! Well my car is running just about perfect now, besides some boost creep I can't get rid of cuz of my 3.5" dp, but I still want to wait to cruise around until my last wheel comes in, which will be around February 10th or so. Sounds far away but it's just around the corner now, can't wait!

When the rain stops im gonna go get the car again. Alignment is needed.. Probably try to put some more miles on it and do some more finishing touches. Maybe if the weather is good friday we can represent the 7 crew.. lol..

Catch, i owe you a beer, or a good steak will do...

Haha I know exactly what that's like, after having the car start going sideways at 120 MPH it's enough adrenaline to last me for the rest of the day. I took my friend for a ride and we started talking about that. He's like yeah I'm definitely good for awhile.

Rotorsports did a great job tuning the car. Everyone was impressed. More so with the handling of the car and how easy it starts and settles into the idle. Thanks again Bryan and your team at rotorsports.

Dude at 15psi she is a rocket. Full boost by 4k and pulls hard. Man i am so impressed with this car.

But, catch-22 did pull on me. Friendly grocery store trip and I got raped. His car is fast as Hell. But I'm happy, car is strong, looks great and that's it.

Damn alignment didn't go as planned. Old fart left a car on the lift so Thursday is the new day.

Gotta start somewhere, 2 years ago my car was running 10 psi with a 60-1, then slowly upped it to 15 and ran it there for maybe a year. Now I'm at 23 psi on the t70, and I can say I'm good for a good long while. If you move too fast on the power tree you spend too much money breaking stuff all at once, your car becomes too dangerous for you to drive, and you have no where else to go and no new found power to be excited about.

Yeah this car is a different monster compared to my 400hp fc. Can't imagine 20psi and over. I'm really good at where it is now. Gotta enjoy this power level then later I will have something to look forward to when I turn it up.

Gotta work out some bugs. Light switch in off position. Woke up this morning, lights on. Hmmmmm. Weird. Videos soon.

Do you have a build up thread for your fc? My goal in a few years is to reach 400whp so I'd love to know how you got there

Nothing crazy. power is made easy with any turbo, its just keeping it together with the right tune, fuel and ems.

I had a e6k, 1600's, to4e, 18psi, half bridge by BDC, and most of the bolt ons that you have. It ran like a scalled dog. It's sitting now, but i was talking to someone last night about getting it on the road again.

Most all the guys here have great setups and fast cars. READ, READ, READ...... I learned everything from this forum, for my fc and fd. Just follow any one of the fc guys that are making 400-500hp. I will help out as much as i can.

Neal

Yeah Brian. Got it completed a week ago and i've been driving it to work out all the kinks. Runs great, boost fine and looks bad ***.

I have never gotten this much attention in a car. WOW. I even had a old Greek lady give me props, I mean to the point she was asking me questions, touching the car, walking all around it, checking it out. I had a guy pull up next to me and give the thumbs up, then he speeds away. I pass him about 2 secs later and he has pulled over and standing outside his car on the freeway with his camera phone taking pics of my car as it drives by..

I am super happy of how it turned out. I can't say thank you enough to everyone on this forum. From the haters to the doubters, to the big dogs who have guided me and to the shops that make it all possible. A lot of time and work goes in these projects and like i said before I respect the builds of the guys who make these rx7s beautiful.

Thanks again guys..

hey, so your on full boost(15psi) at 4k, have you had this on the dyno?

Be good to know what figures your getting and when the power starts to drop off as im going for the same turbo.

Did you get a dyno graph?

We did some data logging and most of the runs had the same outcome. 3rd gear would hit 15psi by 4100 range and 4th would be 100-200 rpm sooner. I plan dyno numbers soon. We will see how this small hotside performs.

I guess it will do 420-440rwhp if im lucky. I might try to dyno it next week maybe.

Got a new list of things to do.
*Tranny brace, a-spec.
*gear lube, the neo stuff
*garfinkle torque brace
*put some damn mirrors on the car, lol..
*install feed carbon sides, and shine carbon lip
*finish interior/ gauges/ stereo etc..
*order brakes
*take car to body shop to touch up/fit/trim entire car.
*order carpets from jason on the forum!!!!
*and im sure there is lots more stuff to do, this is for starters..

Just trying to get the car looking nice.

sounds like its gonna be a really nice car.

enzo hit 497whp at 17psi with a t6 1.32 98mm rear wheel version, id imagine 465whp at 15psi with his setup.

then its just a case of trying to work out what you will loose from the smaller wheel and rear turbine.

Id imagine you wont loose a massive amount at only 15psi, just will hurt you higher in the boost range, but to be fair, 420whp is 500bhp at the fly, that a genuinely fast car, at 1250kg thats as quick as older supercars.

i did think about the big rear wheel like enzo but 5300rpm before 15psi is a bit high really if you not reving the motor hard.

ill let you know how i get one, im shooting for 700bhp to take the european rotary top speed record, ive got a build thread on english forums but not 100% sure if people will be interested over here

Hey man, yeah im hoping for some good numbers from my setup. I never try to compare cars because there are so many variables. Enzo, ernie-t and alot of the big boys have very nice custom parts with big porting and crazy throttle bodies and manifolds. Their ignition setups are crazy and so is their ecu stuff.

I am hoping for a good 420-430hp at 15psi. I have two buddies that have dynos and both should be free to use. One is a dyno jet and the other a dyno dynamics. Of course i prefer the dd and hope to use that one in a week or so. I don't have a boost controller so it will be 15psi for now.

I like your build thread you have going. Looking forward to seeing it done and how fast you can get it. In a few months im attending a mile speed event with my buddy. The maxton mile in nc. He has a 840hp supra and a 997 that has run 10.5 in the 1/4. So we will see what they can do.

Yeah. The maxton mile is hard to catch. Hopefully we can get to it this year. When I find
out the date I will post it in this thread.

You in Denver! I was working up there on the hwy16 project.
