well, i wasnt as much conserned about housings and trim as i was about performace. I heard they're both very responsive and are good for somewhere around 400rwhp. If someone could recommend one or another and state the reason why.

There is no need to worry about a rebuild most of you won't keep your car that long, unless you granade your motor and send crap through the turbo pretty rare though;cheaper, yeah,if you don't shop around;more reliable, how so?

T04E - price and rebuildability
But I think that the RX6 is a better turbo.... BB and quick spool up, capable of slightly higher power numbers and although not possible to rebuild outside of Japan, it is still a tough, well built turbo.
Although I am a little biased
Cheuk
93 R1
Ported low compression rotor engine
APEXi single turbo
443 uncorrected RWHP, 417 corrected RWHP at 15 psi on 89 octane fuel.

hahah. little bias huh? I read some of your other posts cause you know what's up. Now say i do go with the rx6, get a better fuel pump, 1300cc secondaries, new mild ported motor with 3mm apex seals, and PFC dyno tuned to 1bar, about how many miles can i get on my motor if i punch it like once a day. Will the turbo last 100,000 miles if i dont go over 1bar? Is there any problems uniquely associated with this turbo?

If you take care of the car, and it's properly tuned you will be just as reliable if not more so than the factory setup,as far as how long the turbo will last,if you really think you will keep it for that long, then you must not get bored to easy, but I have had a turbo go 165k.
