Here's the thing i dynoed my car almost 2 months ago. And had problems getting the boost up. We could get it up to about 18 psi and would drop down to 13-15 psi.

Now it's dropping of to the wastegate spring load wich is 0.8kg wich is about 12 psi. And it's realy anoying. Checked all vacum hoses. And the boost controller, wich is a Blitz SBC IDIII.

There are some slack in the turbo but not blowing any oil. So im wondering if the wastegate is failing.

Anyone got any good answers? Wastegate is 4 years old.

last time i had boost issues, it was leak on the couplers of the piping....

 

I think that you probably have a very minor vacume leak somewhere, the .8 kg spring in the greddy will hold 1.5 bar with no leaks, but get the slightest leak and it will drop off fast.
