hope you guys can help...boost seems to be dropping off at around 5-6k rpm . drops to about 10-11psi (wastegate spring) fiddled with profec b spec two boost goes up to whatever i set but it always comes down. both in high and low settings. no air leaks????....stumped!

anyone had similar problems?

What size is the exhaust on your turbo?

 

just over 3 inch bore.....I have a to4e

 

I mean the A/R, do you know that?

 

it says A/R .80

 

Make sure your wastegate spring isnt worn out. Might not be closing like it should.

 

could be but if that were the problem would it not drop below the wastgate spring rating?..........mine drops to the wastegate spring rating....10 psi

 

Done a run with no air filter......suprisingly only lost 1 psi instead of three........new filter to find now and...a bit of fine tuning on the profec!!!..................fingers crossed!!!........anybody else experienced this problem?

 

Yes, i dont run a air filter either just a screen as seen on many drift cars. My other guess would be your a/f ratios are not staying consistant, mine is doing this now and im going back to the dyno to find it.
