Congrats Ernie on the new numbers !!!
2 thumbs up for Ray !!!!
You're simply making it harder on yourself to get that car down the 1/4 on full throttle :-) !!!!!!!
Just wondering, where do you get 6-8psi less?
Since your SP dyno(711rwh) clearly shows 36psi and you say your BP dyno (735rwh) was @ 32psi...
Is it possible to get that 735rwh dyno sheet with the boost graph ?
Those 2 dyno sheets seem ideal to compare spool-up and gains since nothing else was changed but the porting.
Good luck this weekend......might be doing more drifting then drag racing -)

Thanks. On my old street port I used a manual boost controler which spiked around 39psi then settled finally at 36ish, which is eveident on the dyno graph as its all over the place and dies quick at the end too. With the bridgeport I switched to an AVCR and it holds like a champ, only fluctuating between 30-32psi which is also evident by the dyno as its very smooth all the way across. Spool is about the same. Can't wait till this sunday. You coming?
Ernie
Dee,
Don't bring your garbage into someone else's thread.
Rice was right. You hit a high peak boost and tapered off to your final boost number. It is a fact proven by your own dyno chart. Do you deny the facts?
Sorry Ernie. Nice job and great job to every involved in building and tuning the engine. Not to mention you for paying for it all. Trailblazing!

your old dyno sheet shows 36.99psi as peak.
Is the 735rwh dyno sheet available with boost pressure graph ?
I will be @ Atco watching all the fast rotary cars :-) ( hahahahaha...)
Maybe I'll race my car for the hell of it.
Have fun, keep it straight and together.

still comparing aqpples to apples there would not be that much between them personaly but hey, not starting another **** fight

like I always have said, nothing a little more PSI wont address (between SP and Full Bridge) if you have the window to do so with the turbo you have.
good on you for posting the curves for all the various sessions and set ups too
From the dyno sheets I have on my computer it is pretty close in overall response, if reading it correctly looks like a gain of about 200rpm. Bu not sure how good a comparison it is since running different boost levels on the two runs.

I ran today with a brand new stock tranny. Bitch wouldn't come out of 2nd gear at 9000rpm to save my life. I had to double clutch loosing valuable time and still went 10.20@141mph at 28psi.
When I turned the boost up to 32psi, the tranny got worse with getting out of gear, but that bitch pulled like a freight train! I gained 40mph between the 1/8mile and the 1/4. Can't wait to get my PPG back!

Just because many felt that BPs were over rated for street/strip applications they were were not hating on BPs.
Many (including Ernie's 711rwh) have proven how much power could be made with a SP without the hassles of a BP.
Either way, everyone is entitled to run what they choose.
Let's not ruin Ernie's thread. He has been kind enough to post specs, results and dyno sheets.
