OMP block off plate drill and tap for oil return?

Yay or nay. I searched and was stuck with a plethora of things that didn't come close to that or stuff i posted previously in other threads with no answer.

Anyone care to chime in?

well you'd have to pull the drive gear out. and you have to make sure that the oil line would be at an appropriate height so that the oil doesn't back up.

There is no STOCK return on an NA front cover.

Food for thought.

It would be easier to drill/tap the aluminum housing, or weld a fitting on it then to ditch the OMP drive gear and all that crap, that is if the engine is already assembled.

Are you using an N/A front cover, or just trying to be different?

More info cause i'm bout to have to tap my front cover, also doing all this with out taking off the front cover. If this way would work that be easier since i already need to make a plate since i'm running premix

The casting has the provisions for the oil return, it just hasn't been machined. So you just need to drill tap in the stock location in order to have the return in the stock location.
