well, i knew the oil seals were getting a little worn out, but i went ahead and installed a front mount intercooler anyways.. took it for a test drive, the BOV thats on the piping is set too stiff so the compressor surged , coupling popped off , then there was a bang, and about 2 mins later strangely mass amounts of oil smelling smoke is coming out my exhaust. my car is a S4 TII.. turbo is a stock rear with external wastegate, stock manifold, and a small / midsized garrett front (not sure of the model) anybody have any idea of how much it costs to rebuild turbos??? if its around 400 dollars i may just get a huge setup.. somthing that will disturb the peace
