What are the disadvantages/advantages of using a screen over the compressor instead of using the full inatek system. I've seen that a lot of cars run like an open compressor. Isn't this harmful to the motor? Does it increase power/ quicken spool up? What are your thoughts guys?

 

I've done the measurements/calculations and running a K/N type air filter is more flowing than screen mesh. People that run an open inlet are usually only at the track.
