Thumbs up New ported motor and single turbo project has begun!!

Hey guys, I had my 7 dropped off at PHAMSPEED (http://phamspeed.com/) last week to get my new ported motor and PHAMSPEED’s T63 kit installed. Here are some recent pics of my old motor getting yanked. More pics to come throughout the process, and hopefully some dyno numbers when completed. For anybody looking to get some custom work done I highly reccomend John and PHAMSPEED, he's a stand up guy and does nothing but quality work.

Their website is not user friendly. The links are all messed up. I hope it doesn't refelct their service. I do like their price on a custom built intercooler setup. I'm going to give them a call for my setup. Nice setup by the way.

Thanks....yeah John is still building his website and is new to the whole thing. But as for John's service, Top Notch. Ever since I dropped my 7 off which was about two weeks ago, he has called me everyday to give me updates, or when he found a better deal on a part, or just to shoot the ****......I said it before and I'll say it again, John and PHAMSPEED are stand up guys who I highly reccomend. you can also PM John screen name is LT1-7

Someone told me you guys meet up in the Albertson's parking lot, w/ a bunch of boosted rides, when my swap is done I'll have to meet with you guys. I'm actually back at school, but I'll be back for a weekend to take my FD back home. I'll PM yah...

Do you have any pic's of just the exh manifold? It looks like it does a 45 deg bend right out of the engine??

I like how the turbo sit's up high though, should help the drain.

The extra piping is going to be a custom air duct John has created for me.

Here's another good pic of the bend

I've worked with many IC systems and this will flow just fine. Considering the size of the pipes, that bend will not be a restriction.

Piping looks proper. This seems like the correct way to run the charge pipes for a fmic. Could this setup work with a/c? I would think the condenser would interfere.

Could you take more photos of the fmic setup please? Maybe a few of the charge inlet and outlet as well? Looks fantastic

Looking good dean.

What injector sizes are you going to be running and also what type of fuel/ignition setup are you going to use? Are you still running power fc? Who will tune it?

Your car looks good, when will it be all done and moving?
