Need input for reaching 400whp with my FC?
Im starting to brew up a plan for my FC to reach 400whp or more and I need a little help as for the turbo selection and planning.Im new to turbocharged cars and their management systems. What turbo should I aim at getting and what's best for my goal? What about management? Here's a thread from the previous owner of my car so you can see what model it is and the little mods.

Tdo6 is probably going to be a little small.
As for 3rotorrocket, Im almost done buying everything i need to make 400 Hp. I started off with about that same amount of mods you did about 2 months ago when i put my car up. and I have been ordering new parts ever since. One thing i can tell you is that it is expensive. You take into account all the big stuff you need, Turbo, FMIC, standalone, Fuel stuff, And after that youve just got started. Its all the little things that end up killing you in the end.

Sorry, my last post was kinda half assed because i had to leave.
Anyways, to elaborate a little more. All im saying is that its things like, the boost controller, Wastegate, FPR, manifold, fuel rails, all the lines and fittings, DP Ect ect...The list goes on and on. those are the things that really eat you up, because you dont think of em at first.
And yea, a T66 on a ported motor will hit 400 HP at a reasonable boost level pretty easily.

I'd take the T04B60-1 over the T04E "60". Larger compressor and higher flow.

The difference between the (T04B)60-1 and the T04E "60": the 60-1 is a larger compressor wheel, the comp housing has a larger inlet, and overall it flows more.
Although the T04E "60" is a newer and more efficient design, the T04B 60-1 will make more power, on our cars anyway.

I'm not talking about the TD06 20G turbine which is rated at 400. The TD06 25G is very similar to the TD07. The TD06 25G is rated at something like 650. Buddy of mine is making close to 600rwhp on his from an sr20det.

I found alot of td06 25g rx7 Japanese sites through google.com but none in the states. I did find out the compressor wheel is a 60 Trim and the exhaust comes in 8,10, or 16cm.

If not when it comes time for a rebuild and it doesn't have a port i'll send it to you anyway. If it is ported it would be a street port,I would want a bridge port then.

The TDo6 20G will not easily make 400hp. If you boosted 24-25psi it might come close not sure. The 25 G makes about 500hp if tuned properly.
I say this from my experience with a TDo6H 20g that is laying on my workbench right now. I took it off and put my high flow back on because I had a broader powerband and higher peak power with the high flow. I purchased a freshly rebuilt Tdo6 with a Trust standard wastegate and ran it on a normal FC engine with a Power FC and a Profec B evc even boosting 1.1 I only could get 315RWHP out of it. I played with timing curves and was forever trying to get it to spool faster. The guys at KSP said that my Highflow turbine will flow more than the 20g and a 25g would be better but it will spool slower. After running a drift competition at Ebisu circuit I could not get a proper drift with the turbine so with all the combined problems I decided to swap back good ole High flow turbine.
Not to say that the td06 was a bad turbine I reallylike the way it pulls in the upper RPM ranges but I would need more tuning or maybe a port to get the spool I like and would have to run a lot more boost to get the power I want.
