Need help choosing bw turbo (street/drift)

Hello! I purchased a 7 about 6 months ago. The turbonetics t66 that came with the car happened to be toast. Unfortunately, it is the first gen t66, so turbonetics cannot rebuild it. I do realize that other companies may be able to rebuild it, but I figured now was a better time than ever to go ahead and upgrade. My power goals are 400 to 450 whp with fast response for street, some autocross, and drifting, mainly the latter. I do plan on turning up the boost, along with water inj (Although i haven't chosen a kit yet). I have a large street port, a neukin single scroll manifold with a large 44mm wastegate, and alot of supporting mods.
I need your valuable opinions as my current budget is about $1000. I was contemplating the sxe300 line, which would put me at my budget, but didnt know if they would make that much difference for such a large $ amount when compared to the standard s300 lines ($1000 vs $600). Would i benefit more by just getting the standard s300 (size?) and water inj kit to spray for more boost, or get an sxe and chill on low boost for a while untill i can save up for the water inj? I have been contemplating the s360-s366 sizes but wasnt sure what size i should get due to the open manifold.
Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

The Turblown TDX61 would fit your power goals and are around $1000. I have a standard TD61 and I'm very happy with it.

For your power goals, I'd 100% say to go with the 300SX S362. It'll make your power, and spool faster than an S366. With the 90 degree outlet, and machined for a 3" V-Band, we would have you out the door shipped for under your budget.

If you are looking to make a purchase we can make a recommendation over the phone. We have 15 years solid experience with these cars and have used pretty much every combination you can imagine.

Thank you gor the replies guys. The s362 is what i was thinking tbh. What would you sugest on exhaust housing? Can i even run a twin scroll on an open housing, as in would it negatively affect it?
Thanks

I would go with an S360 if you want to stay Borg Warner. I've made 520 wheel hp with that turbo and it will spool way faster than a 362 or 366.

I wouldnt mind trying a s360 if i knew it would do 500whp. What size exhaust housing did it have? Was it a large street port? Would be awesome if you had a dyno.

I am trying to find dimensions on the s360 and s362/3 to find out it its gonna hit the frame. I can find length but not the width of the exhaust housing in the .88 and .91 twin sizes.

How does the spoolup compares to the regular GT35R?
