did you just run an event? if so how did you do?

tires
RPM
speed
plugs

it looks like you must have a serious bridgeport as your power comes on around 6K?

i run again Oct 24-26th

last year i had only 2 runs.

because it was my first time i was limited to 165 on the first run. 5 days prior i had run 205 mph on the dyno and lost my speedo needle so i did not have a mph from it.

i did some calculations and figured i shouldn't be above 6 thousnad something (i forget what it was ATM). i got a really good start and was at 9000 before i could shift in first and second, third 8800, fourth 8800 and when i shifted into fifth i saw the tach above 6000 and climbing quickly. i literally too my foot off the gas and a second or so went by w the 3/8 marker. i just coasted to the finish to stay under 165 and i think it was 152.

what blew me away was the Michelin Pilot Cup Sport tires. very little wheel spin.

i ran 23 in first and second, and 24-25 in 3rd 4th and 5th. around 550+ hp. we did not get a chance to dyno at 29 which is the sweet spot for the 4094r.

the second run i didn't have as good a start off the line and when i shifted to 4th i had no motor... fuel pump fuse. second runs for rookies are limited to 199 but the 25 mph (gusts) side wind had turned into a headwind so i figured i would go 100% as the head wind would have probably limited me to 199 or under.

interestingly, the corvette guys were commenting on the sidewind pushing their cars around and i didn't notice it.

303k is not bad considering you lost all that boost in the long gear.

Good numbers, and for a mile drag car you don't even need mid range torque. what kind of dyno is this? how is the drag horsepower calculated and what is its purpose/effect on the numbers?
