Heres a link to your dyno post, https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/darkphantoms-dyno-892885/

Maybe you can give us a update on your setup if you changed anything or not cause 740hp is a lot of hp on just a street port I think

just to check, you tuned it on 20lbs and made 534whp

then by tuning the correct afr and timing you gained 200bhp?

i can understand if you were running more boost or the 737 was at the flywheel so it was 630whp, dont think 100bhp is possible from just tuning but maybe it is.

Can you explain how the power was gained, was there issues with your 534 run that meant it should have been higher then?

so many questions,, pump gas 93,, race gas Q16,, Q16+alky injection, water injection.

all those can make a 200hp difference! with tuning.

we never tunned the car until now. the 20lbs was just ran on a dyno. no tunning

probably because your numbers look false to the rest of the rotary world, you were offered to take it to another dyno that would prove the numbers werent fake and you didnt go, hence it was most likely locked to stop all the bitching and calling the dyno shop you went to a load of rubbish.

Posting up dynos where you must have known your numbers were suspect then showing us a video where the amount of load on the dyno was next to nill didnt verify your results in anyway.

I think if you want people to take your numbers seriously then you need to take it to another dyno shop.

going from 534 to 737 from 3lbs of boost and tuning the afr/timing just doesnt happen im afraid.

Sorry to sound so blunt but im just saying what everyone is probably thinking

they wanted me to go to another dyno thats an hour & a half away which was stupid just to prove to a forum. I wouldn't mind going but someone's got to give me gas money. I already know how much im making, don't really care what other think. & im not on here everyday so if im gone for a certain amount of time its not like im trying to run or something, I have other priorities.

then go another local dyno, theres gotta be a few around there, it maybe true that you arnt bothered whether people believe you or not and you believe the power figure, but none of us do so dont expect to be praised and admired in the same way as you would expect.

Things like on islander's thread, you said, 'yes and 1st gear is a nono. 2nd pedal and 3rd floor it.' now on that thread you said you turned the boost down....

put your foot down in 2nd with 600bhp and expect it to hook up not running slicks.....come on man, pull the other one.

Like i say, you can do what you want, but with you posting that dyno result and when experienced rotary people telling you something is wrong, instead of listening you deny it, thats what has taken you down.

the sad bit is, i was really enjoying your build because the spec is very similar to what im building and your hp and the range of it was very important to me for research but your figures have to ignored.

personally i think at 23psi your about 600whp tops, which is a decent figure, gus got 595whp with 22psi on a s475 which is comparable

and redr1 got 700hp on a stock motor. and zen got 666 @ 25lbs on a t88 and ernie made 8+00hp at 30lbs. so how hard is it to believe. If i find a dyno nearby that wouldnt mind running the car then thats cool. but right now im not even running the same amount of power since its turned down until i feel the need to want more. Hell you can call Alex and ask how he got the power himself.

then i bring the dyno and the vid and the bike race with the 1000 so i showed the proof. if up to you to believe it or not.

p.s. im not running on street tires

dont waste your time going to another dyno, If you want people to believe you, you should take your car to the track.

as a reference: I trap 143 with 620rwhp. If your making 600 or more you should be trapping at least 140 mph.

Wasnt this already proved when the previous FD from that shop claimed 700+ and was only trapping 130's ?

With 100rwhp I surely hope you do better then 5mph. You should be at 155mph with 100rwhp. Good luck Plus you can drive better then me so that will help.
