and this is the reason why i went with the pro-jay intake mainfold. Notice how even with a turbo smaller than the GT42 every other intake mainfold sticks out so you have to modify the
Turbo mainfold and move the turbo closer to the front

What is the effect on the power curve with a manifold like this? seems like it would be good for peak flow having shorter less restrictive runners, does it take a big chunk out of drivability low power/midrange? Fuel economy? not that it matters when you have a car pushing that much power just curious.

you get a faster turbo response (cause of the air flow) , as well as a higher flow throughout mid to top rpm. meaning your redline will be easily in the 9k range
just a customers car running 7sec in the quarter

Looking good man.
So what are your hp expectations.
I'm doing a S475 build as well, stock port motor, als seals.
Im gonna go with the fd manifold for now and gonna upgrade to the E&J setup in the near future.
Good luck, hope to see some great dyno numbers.
Also quick question, your turbo manifold is undivided, doesn't that affect spool? Or will it be so minimal that it wont make a difference?

the throttle body is like putting a bridge port on the motor. it raises the power level (good for bigger turbos) and therby giving more air to the motor=more power. from what ive seen the T2 throttle body & ones like this give a quicker response in the motor other than the 93 intake

I will. Only update i have now is that i do have a set of ALS seals in my hand.
I have a jigsaw puzzle of parts to be installed and the only thing left to buy is the turbo. I was able to get some great used parts from a few of the forum members.
4" full exhaust, PFS fully divided T6 manifold, dual wastegates, PFS diff cradle, JIC coilover, etc. i have a thread and will soon start updating with pics. Motor was supposed to get built this weekend, but we will see.
Put that thing on the dyno man, make us proud..lol

/\ dont forget greg its been there since june so dont get me started
and have 4 more things to do. 1 i need to redo the Radiator hoses as the radiator is more closer
and 2 i am going to move the ac lines to the driverside so that it doesnt pass by the turbo.
and 3 make a bracket for the msd coils.
and 4 weld the Tial bov (which ill hate for the rest of my life)

Car is Finished, breaking in the motor, ill post pictures tomorrow.
2 thing
1. That GT42 Ball bearing turbo sings like a whisle after 2500rpms
2. The E&J throttle body makes the car rev like a bike. Im trying to ease on the gas and the rev's just jump preventing me from moving the car smoothly. And im not even pressing on the gas hard.
Got a videocamera so ill post some youtube as well

/\ its not the change from fuel injected to carburetor. Just that i have a bigger intake from the stock throttle body. This one flows 1244cfm while the stock one is around 900 (i think)
