In the dyno vid, when the camera guy did the walk around why was your coolant hose sucked in like that?

I could tell that you guys where having trouble with the idle, so you had to keep giving it some throttle, but when it was close to idle, it sounded like it had a bit of a lump to it. Didn't sound much like a stockish port with open exhaust to me. But, thats just my .02. Nice work though! CJ

the reason I did that is because i wanted to make sure it was still alive !!!!! the engine idles at 750-850 rpm w/ no problem !!!! o and as for the exhaust theres a muffler on it, but trust me it's stock . I would not come on here and make that up, I would be an idot if i did. so the real question is . is porting worth it in a rotary ?
I know that i'm not changing ANYTHING !!!!!!

thanks for your .02, I have alot in my pm !!!!! lol..........

thats absofuckinglutely amazing
you must have had some incredibly good tuning to achieve that much HP on stock ports.
but i wonder what you could achieve on a ported out motor with the same person tuning your car.. muahahaha

So, what's different now than before ? Does the RE motor flow that much better than the S5 motor ?

I hope you don't mind me posting this link. This seems to be right after the dyno, about 10 seconds in you can hear his idle.

good 1 , I wouln't say that i'm the best in tuning, i've had alot of practice @ my expense, as for the ported engine, maybe later when I can't make any more power w/ the "stock ports"

Congrats again on the numbers. At the last few events I've spoken to a number of the guys from PR and they are not using the 2 piece shafts either and making a lot of HP.

You mentioned you made mid 500's with a Haltech. What do you think are the major things that contributed to you making 200HP more with 5lbs more boost.

Anthony

4 ch ign w/ haltech e-11 is the major one (4 msd boxes 4 msd coils) I saw that abel did it w/ a motec, and now you can do it w/ haltech !!!!! halleffect sesor setup (rotary performance) custom built "short runner" header (protech performance) 76mm vs 74mm / gts vs gtq /4 inch vs 3 inch full ex / lil tuning lol .. / 13bre
i know it don't look like a 200hp increase but it is ...................... o yeah and a bone stock 20 b throttle body sum bitch flows !!!!!!!!!!!!
